The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States has been a voice for our nation's veterans for more than a century . To America and the world, the letters "VFW" symbolize volunteerism, community service, and active concern for our nation's veterans and military service members.

"VFW in Nevada" means thirty seven posts located throughout the state. No matter where you live in Nevada, there is a VFW post near you. A list of Nevada posts and locations is available at the "Nevada Posts" menu button.

If you are an eligible combat veteran, join the VFW and your fellow combat veterans. Besides the many personal benefits for you, you help the VFW "honor the dead by helping the living". Your participation in the VFW strengthens our mission to fight for veterans' rights, help veterans in need, support the communities in which we live, and assist members of the military and their families.

Department of Nevada has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Excelsior College, a recognized and highly respected distance learning institution of    advanced education, to provide corporate partner pricing to VFW/Ladies Auxiliary members and employees.
